The Leinner House
The wine cellar Leinner used to be one of the largest wine cellars in Eisenstadt. It was located in the buildings of the regional archive and the regional wine cellars (in the so-called Leinner house). 1875-1921 the seat of the Casino Club, a club that promoted music, was situated in the Leinner house. In 1881 the newly founded Citizen School took up lessons on the premises of the Leinner house.
After 1918 the Wolf family, a family of wine makers, acquired the building. 1926-1938 it housed the regional museum. 1938-1994 the regional archive had its offices in the Leinner house.
1994 the LBG-Wirtschaftstreuhand, a trust, bought the building.
Since 2004 there is a restaurant located on the ground floor of the Leinner house.
